Behind Ingeniería Segura there is more than concrete, drawings and structures; there is a story of life, family and a deep passion for building dreams on Costa Rican soil.

My name is Jonathan Segura Núñez. I was born and raised in a family devoted, with soul and pride, to construction. From childhood I learned the value of honest work, respect for materials and the singular satisfaction of watching a building rise from its foundations. That family legacy became my calling. Twenty-five years ago I decided to take my own steps in the field, getting my boots dirty on site and living every technical challenge up close, before crowning that effort with my degree as a licensed Civil Engineer.

Over more than two decades I have had the privilege of turning plots of land into warm homes for families, designing and building infrastructure for hotels and tourism projects that drive Costa Rica forward, renewing spaces through full remodeling, and solving complex topographic challenges with specialized stabilization works and retaining walls. To do it, we combine the solidity of traditional masonry with leading-edge innovation: from steel framing and lightweight systems to the efficiency of expanded polystyrene structural panels with steel mesh and sprayed mortar, delivering earthquake-resistant, cool and long-lasting buildings.

But beyond the technical side, I came to understand something essential: behind every drawing there is a longing, the effort of a whole lifetime, or the excitement of a new business venture. We know that building or remodeling can bring fear and uncertainty. That is why Ingeniería Segura was born: to be the human and professional ally that gives you back your peace of mind.
